You can now view your prescriptions in the NHS App
People across south east London are now able to benefit from viewing their issued prescriptions via their NHS App, not just their repeat medications. We’ve been working with NHS England to help bring this functionality to residents ahead of the national launch next year.
Thanks to newly added functionality, you can now view your medicines and medical information all in one place, helping you to understand the overall prescriptions process better.
For prescriptions where you don’t have a nominated pharmacy, you will be able to view a prescription barcode in your NHS App. This barcode can be presented to a pharmacist without having to collect a paper prescription from your GP, avoiding unnecessary journey times to collect a paper-based prescriptions.
As a reminder, you can already use the NHS App to order repeat prescriptions, view and manage your GP appointments, see your GP health record and access NHS 111 online.
