Ceri Jacob started her career in the NHS as a nurse working in both acute and primary care. She left clinical practice in 2000 and has worked in senior management roles across health and care including PCTs, CCGs, NHS England and a Local Authority.
She has long been an advocate of collaborative and integrated planning and delivery on the basis that it leads to better outcomes for the local population, a better working environment for staff and a more sustainable health and care system. She has implemented this way of working in both Hillingdon CCG and the three outer North East London boroughs of North East London CCG. Clinical and professional leadership, supported by great managers, has been key to the successes this approach has delivered.
