Vaccines are the most effective way to prevent many infectious diseases. Your GP may have recently contacted you because their records show that you may have an illness or condition that increases your risk of complications from illnesses such as Covid and Flu. Even if your condition is well managed and/or under control, the NHS still recommend vaccination to increase your protection.

There is still time to be vaccinated and details of the services available in Bromley are listed below:

Flu

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you are aged 65 or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2025), have certain long-term health conditions, are pregnant, live in a care home, are a main carer for an older or disabled person, live with someone with a weakened immune system, or are a frontline health or social care worker (available through your employer).

Covid

The free NHS COVID-19 vaccine is available for adults aged 65 and over, residents in care homes for older adults, individuals aged 6 months to 64 years with clinical risk conditions (such as diabetes, heart disease, neurological or liver diseases, or a weakened immune system), and pregnant people. Get your protection before 31 January 2025.
