Please share your views of the services as a patient registered at Silverlock Medical Centre.
NHS South East London is currently reviewing the service provided by your GP practice. As part of this, we wish to understand and take into account patient views and experience.
Background
NHS South East London is responsible for awarding and managing contracts for all NHS general practice services for people in Southwark and across south east London. The contract to run your GP practice has come to the end of its first term, and we are reviewing the service to inform next steps.
Next steps could include extending the contract with your current general practice provider, or appointing a new organisation to provide your general practice services. NHS South East London will make sure that you continue to have access to high quality general practice care whatever the outcome.
GP practices are independently run businesses that are contracted by the NHS to provide general medical services for patients. These businesses can be owned and run by an individual, a company, a partnership; or a social enterprise. The organisation that manages your GP practice employs the doctors, nurses and other staff who work there.
General practice services at Silverlock Medical Centre are currently provided by AT Medics Ltd, who took on this contract with the NHS five years ago. AT Medics is owned by Operose Health Ltd. The ownership of Operose Health Ltd. changed from Centene Corporation to T20 Osprey Midco Ltd. on 28 December 2023. More information on this change is published on NHS South East London’s website.
