The SEL Integrated Pharmacy Workforce Group (IPWG) brings together all sectors of the pharmacy workforce in south east London. It supports the One Pharmacy Workforce Model and helps deliver the priorities of the SEL ICB Joint Forward Plan for Transforming and Integrating Medicines Optimisation.

Key objectives

The group aims to maximise collaboration by:

  • Using both top-down and bottom-up approaches for credible and effective leadership.
  • Operating under a shared vision.
  • Taking shared responsibility for adapting to the changing needs of the population.

Collaboration and leadership

The IPWG works closely with the SEL Transforming and Integrating Medicines Optimisation (TIMO) Network. Together, they connect pharmacy teams across South East London, ensuring diverse perspectives and providing leadership opportunities for staff at all levels.

Workplan

The group’s workplan aligns with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and SEL ICS People Strategy. It is refreshed annually to reflect evolving priorities, with collaboration at its core.
