Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died
We were incredibly saddened to hear the news that Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. People across the country and world are in mourning for the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen dedicated her life to public service and had a long association with the NHS for which we are very grateful. The Queen will forever be in our hearts and the heart of the nation.
A national book of condolence is available on the Royal website (www.royal.uk) or a book of condolence will be available in the atrium of Southwark Council’s offices at 160 Tooley Street for anyone wishing to pay their respects in that way.
As a mark of respect and in line with national mourning guidance we will be postponing our public events over the mourning period. Please do check the website and with the event organiser if you need any further information.
