The 75th birthday of the NHS on 5 July 2023 marks an important moment for all of us who value our health and care system. It is a time to take stock together. It prompts us to look forward. The NHS Assembly is asking people to contribute to a collective conversation.
We’re inviting patients, carers, staff, and the wider health and care community, to reflect upon the latest learnings and highlight future opportunities and challenges. The NHS Assembly has published a conversation guide and online feedback form and are asking for feedback on the questions in the conversation guide as soon as you are able, with a final deadline of 23.59 on Friday 26 May. You can find more information on the NHS Assembly webpage.
People are asked to have collective conversations and share ideas across three big areas; How far has the NHS come in 75 years? Where is it now? What would you like from the NHS in the future? A downloadable survey and survey guide is available here alongside an accessible version. Please send your responses to england.nhs75engagement@nhs.net.
