We are excited to invite you to the first south east London ICS Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Conference and Awards.
The theme of this event is “Empowering our EDI community”, and will bring together exceptional speakers to explore the evidence behind EDI, its impact on our workforce and patients, and celebrate the outstanding efforts of our colleagues at a local level.
We’re delighted to welcome:
Roger Kline OBE – Research Fellow at Middlesex University Business School, who will present compelling evidence why EDI is essential for our staff and patients.
Cherron Inko Tariah MBE – author, consultant, editor and facilitator, who will highlight the importance of EDI, the power of leadership in driving change, and the strength of collective action – and who will also be hosting our awards ceremony.
A key highlight of the conference will be our System Leaders Panel Discussion, facilitated by Bernadette Thompson, Director of EDI, Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where we invite you to engage in meaningful conversations about shaping a more inclusive south east London ICS.
We acknowledge that Ramadan is expected to commence in March. As many colleagues will be observing fasting and taking time for reflection, we encourage everyone to consider how we can be inclusive and supportive throughout the day. Prayer facilities will be available on the day for those who wish to use them.
This event promises to be an insightful and inspiring day – don’t miss out! Register now to secure your place.
We look forward to seeing you there!
