In partnership with the London Borough of Bexley Council, the NHS South East London Integrated Care Board (SEL ICB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Braithwaite as the new Bexley Place Executive Lead, thereby becoming a member of our ICB Board and the Council’s Senior Management Team.
Diana brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the leadership team and to our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for communities in Bexley.
Diana’s career journey demonstrates a passionate commitment to the values of the NHS, social justice and advocating for communities. Diana has held several senior roles in research, operational management, commissioning and strategic leadership in the NHS, public, commercial, and voluntary sectors. More recently, Diana has been supporting the Place Executive Lead for Bexley as the Chief Operating Officer, working in partnership with the London Borough of Bexley Council and the Bexley Wellbeing Partnership and has been a member of the South East London NHS family for nearly a decade.
We are particularly pleased to welcome Diana to this joint leadership role between the Council and the ICB. Diana’s appointment reflects the continued efforts of the South East London Integrated Care System to maximise our collective opportunities to deliver social value and meet the health and care needs for all our residents and communities through collaboration and integration.
We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the departure of Stuart Rowbotham, Place Executive Lead and Director of Adult Social Health & Care who retires at the end of this month and to thank him for his passion, comradery and dedication to Bexley and South East London.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Diana as she assumes her new responsibilities later in March. Together, we look forward to realising our shared goals and creating a healthier future for Bexley.
