Do you work in primary or social care, and are passionate about wellbeing and making a difference? If so, you may want to consider training as a Menopause Advocate.
The SE London ICS are looking to train a cohort of 20 primary and social care staff to help support the rollout of our Menopause Awareness Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to champion workplace well-being, support fellow colleagues working in these services, and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for those experiencing menopause.
Menopause Advocates will receive a full day of comprehensive training (5th February 2025 10.00 – 16.00), followed by monthly one-hour supervision sessions for one year, to equip them with the knowledge and tools to support colleagues experiencing menopause.
Through this training, attendees will gain practical skills and resources on how to provide peer support, run workshops and support groups, and raise awareness.
This offer is only available to those working in primary or social care in SE London. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Uzo Umemezie, Workforce Transformation Lead, SEL ICS People Programme at Uzo.Umemezie@gstt.nhs.uk for an expression of interest form.
The deadline for completed application forms is 13 December 2024.
