To access the Community Adult Audiology service, you will need to be referred by your GP. Your GP will give you a choice of where you can have your test done — your test will be with one of the following providers:
If you need one or more hearing aids, you will be given one that meets your clinical needs — free of charge.
If you can’t leave your house, your GP can request a home visit for you. In this case, the test will be done by one of these providers:
Please note that our service does not offer ear wax removal. For NHS funded ear wax removal service, speak to your GP who can refer you into the correct service.
