Virtual Engagement Event – Providing women in south east London with advice and guidance around Menopause
Provider collaboratives are partnership arrangements involving at least two NHS trusts working at scale across multiple places, with a shared purpose and combined decision-making arrangements, aimed at transforming health services by promoting better health outcomes and values.
Provider collaboratives are the engine room for improvement across services and making better use of shared resources. In the South East London ICS we have three provider collaboratives:
Trusts are working together to improve the way acute care (refers to short-term treatment, usually in a hospital, for patients with any kind of illness or injury) is delivered in south east London.
A core component of the collaborative’s work is elective (Care that is planned in advance) and diagnostic (tests which help determine the nature of a disorder or illness) recovery.
The APC reports into the committee in common of the three trust boards and to the ICS leadership group, recognising that the collaborative is a key part of the wider south east London Integrated Care System.
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, South West London and St Georges NHS Foundation Trust.
The SLP collectively delivers mental health services to a population of more than 3.6 million people across south London (south east London ICS and south west London ICS) and works across the two ICSs and its borough partnerships to do so. The SLP has taken on delegated responsibility for NHS England and Improvement commissioned specialised services and for CCG funded complex care.
Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, Bromley Healthcare CIC, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
The CPN comprises all of south east London’s physical health community providers and is an informal network rather than a formal collaborative. The CPN is focussed on working together to define and implement common standards and a core community offer for south east London residents.
