A Local Care Partnership (LCP) is a strategic alliance between NHS, local authority, voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations from across the health and care system, working together to provide a range of co-ordinated services with a focus on the health and wellbeing of the local population.
LCPs are ultimately responsible for making decisions on NHS resources and designing appropriate services in their area.
Substantial funding and responsibilities will be delegated to partnerships within the south east London system. Funding will be delegated to LCPs responsible for out-of-hospital services in each of the six boroughs.
