24 Oct 2024

Congratulations to Folake Segun, who has been appointed as the CEO of Healthwatch Lambeth. The move comes after four and a half years working as Director of Healthwatch South East London.

Folake brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having worked to champion public involvement, engagement and representation throughout her career. She has been involved in local Healthwatch since 2013 and has also held roles as Director of Healthwatch Bromley and Chief Executive of Healthwatch Lewisham.

Folake Segun, CEO of Healthwatch Lambeth, said: “I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at Healthwatch Lambeth. Having worked with communities across south east London for over a decade, I am passionate about continuing to champion the voices of residents and strengthen relationships between people and communities and the health and care sectors. I look forward to building on the excellent work already in place and collaborating with partners to drive positive change for everyone in Lambeth.”

We are thrilled to keep Folake’s expertise in south east London, and look forward to continuing to work with her in her new capacity. Folake officially starts her new role at Healthwatch Lambeth on 4 November 2024, after eight weeks as their interim CEO.

The ICB and Healthwatch are discussing interim arrangements to cover the Director of South East London Healthwatch role until 31 March 2025.
