Health and care staff in SE London are being offered free Confidence with Numbers workshops from charity National Numeracy this autumn, starting on 25 October. The initiative aims to build numeracy skills and support staff to improve their confidence with numbers, which can be beneficial for personal and professional development, including career progression and financial well-being.

SE London ICS has teamed up with National Numeracy to offer free support and training to health and care staff working across the system. The initiative is part of Every Londoner Counts – a capital-wide project, endorsed by NHS England and funded through The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, to build numeracy skills amongst adults and help them get a job or develop their current career, and feel more confident in managing their money.

National Numeracy have advised that the Confidence With Numbers sessions work particularly well for teams or existing groups who meet regularly, but individuals are also very welcome to sign up. Places are limited, with up to 20 available per session so, booking is on a first come, first served basis.
